eChart Documents

Any document type may appear in HST eChart, but the document type must be marked as "Used by eChart?" in HST Practice Management>Administration>Code Table Maintenance> Document Type or HST eChart>Admin Home>eChart Documents. Selecting "Used by eChart" in the code table will update the Document Type Configuration in HST eChart and vice versa.

Documents are marked as “Used by eChart?” in eChart Documents section of Admin Home. A user must have Center Configuration and Code Table - Document Type permissions to update this checkbox on a Document Type.

Note: If a document is loaded in HST eChart and then later the document type is changed, either to a different type that is not “Used by eChart?” or the initial document type is changed to not “Used by eChart?”, that document will still be available in HST eChart after the change. To remove a document from HST eChart, it must be deleted from Document Central in HST Practice Management.

 

Mark a Document Type as "Used by eChart?" in HST eChart

  • In the Admin drop-down in the toolbar, tap eChart Documents in the Configuration section
  • A page will display with all Document Types present in HST Practice Management. To the left of every Document Type is a checkbox to indicate whether it is “Used by eChart?”. Check or uncheck the box as desired.
  • Once the necessary changes are made, tap the Update button at the bottom of the page.
